Our theme this month is "coming home to you." In everyday life "out there", we are bombarded with media, conversations, emails, instagram, adverts etc, and it is easy to get swept up in the waves of how we should be, what we should be wanting, doing or having.
Let's take a break from this, slow down and go deeper inside and cultivate that relationship with ourselves. When was the last time you really connected in to your body and noticed how it is actually feeling and what messages it is giving you, when was the last time you witnessed and allowed your emotions to just flow, without trying to grasp onto them, or deny them....when was the last time you paid attention to the words and sentences in your mind and noticed if they are supportive and encouraging or not? Join me for an afternoon of retreat as we turn our attention inwards and really check in how it is for us right now - cultivate a deep, intimate relationship with yourself.
As usual, we will start the afternoon with a reading or poem, starting to move and open through our body before we move into deeper, energising and releasing flows, before slowing it down to deeper, longer held restorative poses and ending in a delicious yoga nidra.
