Let's flow and breathe together as we take our attention on the inside and find our balance. It is all too common in our lives to make a decision (often unconscious) that x is good and y is bad and thus we spend our life trying to be x. Let's not judge any way of being as better than another and let's navigate our way through the balance between strength and softness, stillness and movement. Let's allow ourselves to embrace all parts of us, to be whole and balanced. Lets playfully examine our attitude towards balance. Do we enjoy the focus, clarity and direction a simple physical balance can give us, or do we have a story running on the inside that we are not good at balancing and thus moving into judgement of ourselves. Let it all go, let's show up as we are and explore where we are and who we are.
As usual we will start the afternoon with a reading, a poem or a prayer, starting to move and open through our body before we move into deeper, longer held restorative poses and ending in a delicious yoga nidra.
