This month we explore the play between strength and surrender. For a lot of us, through life we have learned to be strong, physically, mentally and emotionally - but in being so strong have we allowed ourself to surrender? Or for some of us, do we lack belief in ourselves and do not see our true value and so surrender to others needs rather than finding and owning our inner strength. Through our yoga practice, let's dance between Strength and Surrender and find our own balance place between the 2 that works for us in our life right now. It doesn't have to be either / or - we can integrate both.
As usual we will start the afternoon with a reading, a poem or a prayer, starting to move and open through our body before we move into deeper, longer held restorative poses and ending in a delicious yoga nidra.
